Meet Shoko Sensei
Shoko moved to California from Ibaraki, Japan, and I have my AA degree in Child Development from Los Angeles City College. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015, and I was a student teacher for two American preschools while she attended school. Shoko was also a teacher’s assistant at a Japanese preschool in Gardena, CA for two years.
Shoko believes encouraging children and giving feedback is the right teaching method. She will be a role model and leader for them by demonstrating what is expected and communicating what is learned and discovered. Planned activities will challenge and educate in a comfortable environment, and the children will receive an in-depth look into Japanese language, songs, food, literature, crafts, and culture.
FBI Clearance / Background Check Approved. First Aid / CPR Certified. Infant / Toddler Studies.
